The ozone concentration meter in water UV-106-W uses our patented MicroSparge ™ technology which is used to measure the concentration of ozone dissolved in water with high accuracy. Unlike most such devices, our equipment does not use a membrane that will wear out over time. Instead, the ozone concentration is measured by almost completely spraying about 2 ml of water containing ambient air with ozone, and then filtered to obtain only ozone particles in the gas state taken from the sample. The result obtained is subjected to a slight correction based on the temporary ozone profile removed from the solution, so as not to miss any particles that may have remained in the solution before filtering. Due to the fact that the concentration of ozone is measured in a gaseous state, any interference caused by other molecules and dissolved organic and inorganic chemical compounds are removed, which makes it possible to use the device in both perfectly clean and polluted water, such as drinking water, which it may contain many different dissolved organic and inorganic impurities as well as suspended particles.
