    OS-6 is an industrial ozone level controller and monitor. Its implementation ensures accuracy, ease of installation, configuration and operation. All connectors and manipulators are located on the front panel to allow installation before configuring the device. The controller housing has been strengthened to provide protection against splashing and harsh industrial conditions. The setpoints for the ozone level control relays are digitally controlled and set using numerical values. This solution ensures easy configuration of the device even when no ozone is found in the environment. The front panel indicator lights display many important parameters, including the warning that the OSHA limit is exceeded by 0.1 ppm. The generator control switch allows you to turn off the generator from the panel. The user has the option of selecting ranges for the analog outputs (4-20 mA and 0-2 VDC). OS-6 is equipped with a fault detection module and the option for the user to set the time after which the device will go into emergency mode and report a fault.

    Connector description:
    • TB1: 12-24 VDC POWER: OS-6 power supply and grounding
    • TB2: ANALOG OUTPUT: 4-20mA and 0-2 VDC for external control.
    To learn more go to "Selecting the Analogue Range." The default range is 0-20 PPM.
    TIP: The 4-20 mA output serves as a DRIVER rather than as a permanent current source.
    • TB3: RS-232 OUT: Serial data output. For details, read "Data Connections".
    • TB4: GENERATOR CONTROL: Relay that supports user adjustable ozone levels. To learn more, go to "Ozone Control Relay Setpoints and Alarms".
    • TB5: ABOVE 0.1 PPM: Relay associated with OSHA security limit (for remote alarms / sirens).
    • TB6: UNABLE TO CONTROL OZONE: Relay associated with entering the emergency mode Unable to Control Ozone - Ozone level control impossible (for remote alarms / sirens).
    • TB7: GENERATOR ENABLE: A jumper is factory fitted to enable generator control using Generator Control (TB4). If the jumper has been removed and these terminals are not connected, the ozone controller connected to TB4 will not start. Remove the jumper or replace it with a switch to turn off the ozone generator during maintenance. The work should also be removed if the User wants to switch OS-6 to the ozone level monitoring mode. In this situation, if the jumper has been removed, the controller control relay (TB4) will be inactive, as will the "Generator Control" and "Unable to Control Ozone" indicator.
    • TB8: Sensor Data and Ground: Connect the cable from SM-4 TB1 BLK (ground) and WHT (data) to TB8.
